USS Freedom (LCS 1)’s Integrated Bridge System features fully digital nautical charts interfaced to ship sensors to support safe ship operations.

USS Freedom (LCS 1) will deploy two years ahead of schedule with a crew of 75, as well as a Coast Guard law enforcement detachment of 20 sailors.

Mission Systems aboard USS Freedom (LCS 1) include COMBATSS-21, which integrates proven open architecture components from Aegis, SSDS and SQQ-89 with a ruggedized COTS ship computing environment and communications capabilities provided by the Common Radio Room (CRR) derived from the submarine CRR.

Lockheed Martin's LCS solution contains space for two H-60 helos or one H-60 helo and three VTUAVs.
